"I hate leaving home. I love what I do, but I'd love to go home every night."
Hey there friends! Sorry I have been away for the last few days and my posts have been 4 days instead of 3. This is going to be a short post as well but I just wanted to keep all you readers updated.
Surveys are going well. I have earned a few more dollars from Swagbucks when I have actually had time to do a quick survey. I often find that taking the 8 minute surveys for 50 points adds up quickly and you don’t waste to much time if you do not qualify for a survey. On average I have a list of about 1000 points that I could earn if I qualified for every survey but with Swagbucks unfortunately you do not qualify every time so it can be hit or miss. Of course make sure you stop in and do their daily question, answer the polls and watch some videos if you want to earn a couple of quick points for doing absolutely nothing but 1 or 2 clicks. Not a living wage but a small bit of extra. Pinecone Research I have only had 1 more survey that I have received and I am now up to $6 for the month so that is going slow.
Thrifting is going well. Of course we are putting money back into our thrifting and have been restocking inventory to replace what we sell. Me and Jordan both have been posting a few items a day. Selling for a while was going well especially in our venture into Funko Pops! It seems though that the inventory was exhausted this week as many people who were selling them are getting their prices online and trying to sell on Marketplace for value instead of the lots we were finding at yardsales. We did not go yardsale searching this week but Jordan did go to the bins and got some more inventory. We are also restricting our selling practices so hopefully that will pan out and improve the selling income we are getting.
I am still playing on Mistplay as well. I have earned around $4 this month in total as the same game has been the bonus points game. It is fairly fun but after hitting so many levels you do not gain a lot of points for buying the gift cards as quickly. I will be downloading and playing some additional games to maybe up my points in a few days once I have a bit of time.
There are some other talking points that I want to hit but today I cannot do that. There are some other apps that I have been earning with but I have been doing so for a long time. Considering this I have not posted them to my Journey but I feel that it is something you as readers should know about. On my next post I will be reviewing apps that have promise to earning money and what I think about them.
As I said today this is not a big post. I’m not even going to make it that fancy. As I said when beginning this challenge that my personal life comes before my work life. My current personal life has some things going on but I will continue to push through and move forward with my blog as well. Charlie Watts is todays quote. “I hate leaving home. I love what I do, but I’d love to go home every night.” This is really hitting home to me. I am not away but life is really becoming very busy for me as of late. I love what I am doing and trying to help everyone. It gives me a little purpose to this blog in more than just making money. With so much going on it seems that I am away a lot. Not physically but mentally right now. I want you as the reader to know that I am alright. There are things that come along in our lives that can detour us, distract us and keep us away from home. It is part of the world of business. I just want to say, do not let things overcome you. If you need to do it, take some personal time, do what needs to be done and do not overburden yourselves with trying to do something simply for money. This is a business venture and if you do not have your head in the game to think straight, take the time to straighten it up and set your priorities where they need to be. Mental, physical and emotional health are more important than financial benefits that I am attempting to gain. I will continue to work hard for you as the readers but I am also going to let you know that I will be taking time to focus on my personal life as well.
